The process

How it works

  1. Step 01

    Free consultation

We listen to what happened and tell you plainly whether you have a claim worth bringing. No cost, and no obligation to hire us.

  2. Step 02

    Investigation

We move first on the evidence that disappears — footage, black box data, inspection logs — then build the medical record that ties your injuries to the incident.

  3. Step 03

    Negotiation

We present the demand and hold the line. Most claims resolve here, but only once the file is strong enough that the insurer knows what trial would cost them.

  4. Step 04

    Resolution

You approve any settlement — the decision is always yours. If the offer stays unreasonable, we file suit and try the case.

Common questions

Questions we hear most

What does it cost to hire you?

Nothing upfront. We work on contingency, which means our fee is a percentage of what we recover and there is no fee if we recover nothing. Case costs and expenses are handled separately and are explained in writing before you sign anything.

How long will my case take?

A straightforward claim that settles pre-suit often resolves in six to twelve months. A case that requires filing suit typically runs eighteen months to three years. The single biggest factor is your medical treatment — we do not put a value on a claim before we know what your recovery actually looks like.

What is my case worth?

Anyone who gives you a number in the first conversation is guessing. Value depends on the severity and permanence of your injuries, the cost of past and future treatment, lost earnings and earning capacity, the available insurance coverage, and how clearly fault can be proven.

Will I have to go to court?

Most clients never testify at trial. The majority of claims settle, and many settle before suit is filed at all. That said, we prepare every file as though it will be tried — an insurer that believes you will not go to court has no reason to pay fairly.

How long do I have to file a claim?

Your state’s statute of limitations sets the deadline and it can be as short as one year. Claims against a government entity often require formal written notice within months of the incident. Miss either deadline and the claim is gone regardless of its merit, so call early.

What if I was partly at fault?

You may still recover. Most states reduce your recovery in proportion to your share of fault rather than barring the claim outright, though some bar recovery once your share passes 50 or 51 percent. Insurers routinely overstate a claimant’s share, so do not assume their assessment is correct.
